Lake Innes Medical & Dental Centre is a locally owned and operated family health practice along with its sister health practices, Hermitage Hastings Medical Centre and Lighthouse Medical Centre, all three practices operate under the same ethos of "Committed to Care".
Our practice undergoes a voluntary process which involves achieving accreditation based on nationally recognised standards.
Dr. Gopalareddy is a familiar face to many in Port Macquarie, having patients across practices. Her extensive experience spans international work, the NSW public health system, and non-profit community health services. Dr. Gopalareddy has a special focus on family medicine & skin cancer medicine. Additionally, she is dedicated to the education and training of future healthcare professionals, actively involved in teaching medical students and training General Practitioners (GPs).
Dr. Skrebels graduated in 1985 with her medical degree from Flinders University in South Australia. Subsequently, she completed training for General Practice through RACGP and later obtained a Graduate Diploma of Family Medicine through Monash University in Melbourne.During her 25+ years of medicine, Dr Skrebels has worked in ED, Paediatrics, Surgical and rehabilitation medicine. Lisa enjoys the daily variety of ongoing therapeutic relationships with individuals and families.
Dr. Hain is a well-known and respected general practitioner who has practised in the area for over 38 years. Dr Hain offers his patients an integrative and holistic approach to complex health conditions. Dr Hain's integrative approach to health brings patients from far and wide.
Dr. Henderson joined us in 2023 and has been a local GP in the area for a while. She has done her PhD in the field of Parkinson Syndrome. Her additional area of interests is in Diabetes Management.
We would like to welcome Dr. Nava Barman to Lake Innes Medical & Dental Centre as a general practitioner who is accepting new patients. Dr Barman brings with him a wealth of expertise after working within emergency departments in both Delhi and Australia since 2017 as well as operating a diabetic clinic while in Delhi. We are very excited to have Dr Barman join our group of exceptional general practitioners.
Dr. Euan Brown BDS graduated in Scotland in 1982 from the University of Dundee Scotland. Dr Brown is a General Dentist with substantial experience in all aspects of General Dentistry. Before joining us Dr Brown worked locally at Port Macquarie and Kempsey. Dr Brown is gifted in making his patients comfortable whilst undergoing dental procedures. Dr Brown and his wife with their two children have made Port Macquarie home since 2009 and decided to embrace the friendly welcome of its locals.
Elena Hey has 28 years experience working in the education and health sectors as a teacher, researcher and counselling psychologist. Elena is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of mental health issues for clients of all ages in particular, working with adolescents and young adults. She has experience in working with clients from a range of social and cultural backgrounds, including indigenous clients, who require clinical support with emotional or psychological issues.
Maryrose is the Administration Manager for the three practices, which includes this practice. Her attitude towards work is unquestioned by all staff and she believes in getting the job done without compromising on quality. She has over 25 years experience in medical administration and is the go to person in our practices.
Kerry is our multi location nurse and has been part of the team since 2014. Graduating as an RN in 2011 she has developed a passion for primary health care. Kerry's key nursing interests include immunisations, wound care, Women's health and Mental health.
Nick is our practice nurse at both Lighthouse Medical Centre and Hermitage Hastings Medical Centre. Specialising in primary health care through post-graduate studies and having worked as a personal trainer, he is passionate about health and fitness. Key interests include men's health, musculoskeletal and chronic disease management, wound care, and immunisations.
Carolyn Chessman is part of the reception and admin team. She brings wealth of experience from her previous role at Service NSW.
Sue has been with Lighthouse Medical Centre for over three years and brings a friendly face and warming attitude to our practice team.
