Lake Innes Medical & Dental Centre is a locally owned and operated family health practice along with its sister health practices, Lighthouse Medical Centre and Hermitage Hastings Medical Centre, all three practices operate under the same ethos of "Committed to Care".

Vision, mission and values

Our health centre provides quality health care to people of Port Macquarie and its surrounding areas mainly and tourists who throng the area during the holiday seasons. Along with our experienced General Practitioners we have a Dentist, Physiotherapists, and Pathology collection services - all available under one roof. They are capably supported by competent Registered Practice Nurses and friendly reception staff.

Friendly and caring doctors include Dr Lisa Skrebels, Dr Chitra Gopalareddy, Dr Jenny Beange, Dr Warwick Hain and Dentist Dr Euan Brown, who are all committed to providing quality health care for the whole family.

Catherine McLean and Kathy Lawrence from Port Macquarie Physio and Pilates have opened a second satellite clinic at Lake Innes Medical & Dental Clinic.

Pathology North, a NSW government owned public pathology has a collection room here. Pathology North provides access to a wide variety of tests to the general public and companies to assist in best possible treatment decisions for patients.


Dr. Lisa Skrebels BMBS Grad Dip Fam MedDr Skrebels graduated in 1985 with her medical degree from Flinders University in South Australia. Subsequently, she completed training for General Practice through RACGP and later obtained a Graduate Diploma of Family Medicine through Monash University in Melbourne.
During her 25+ years of medicine, Dr Skrebels has worked in ED, Paediatrics, Surgical and rehabilitation medicine. Lisa enjoys the daily variety of ongoing therapeutic relationships with individuals and families.

Dr. Euan Brown BDS DentistDr Euan Brown BDS graduated in Scotland in 1982 from the University of Dundee Scotland. Dr Brown is a General Dentist with substantial experience in all aspects of General Dentistry.   Before joining us Dr Brown worked locally at Port Macquarie and Kempsey. Dr Brown is gifted in making his patients comfortable whilst undergoing dental procedures.  Dr Brown and his wife with their two children have made Port Macquarie home since 2009 and decided to embrace the friendly welcome of its locals.

Dr. Jenny Beange MBBSDr Beange has relocated to Port Macquarie from Dubbo, where she has gained wide ranging experience as a rural family GP, and also as a senior health service manager of Medicare Local.
Her previous roles included work in women and children's health, mental health, chronic disease management and Aboriginal health. Jenny looks forward to contributing to the health and wellbeing of the practice's patient community.

Dr Warwick Hain MBBS FACNEMDr Warwick Hain is a well-known and respected practitioner who has practised in the area for over 38 years. Dr Hain offers his patients an integrative and holistic approach to complex health conditions. Dr Hain's integrative approach to health brings patients from far and wide.

Dr. Chitra Gopalareddy MBBS, FRACGP & DCHDr Gopalareddy is a familiar face to many in Port Macquarie, having patients at not just this practice but also Lighthouse Medical Centre and Hermitage Hastings Medical Centre. Dr Gopalareddy brings with her a wealth of expertise having worked overseas, and in the NSW public health system and non-profit community health practices. Her special interests are women's health, child and teenage health, pregnancy and antenatal care and mental health.

Angie Phinn RNPractice NurseAngie has been a registered nurse for over 25 years working in both rural and regional NSW. She has experience and qualifications in aged care, Aboriginal health, women's health, immunisations, acute and community nursing.

Nick Cook Practice NurseNick Cook is our registered practice nurse at both Lighthouse Medical Centre and Lake Innes Medical Centre. Nick has attained a degree in Bachelor of Nursing. His special interests are men's health, chronic disease conditions, children and teenage health.

Stuart LeckiePractice NurseStuart Leckie is our registered practice nurse with a whole lot of experience in nursing, and a major interest and experience in pain medicine.

Skye Smith and Lydene Heslop Dental StaffLydene and Skye are both calm and caring, which allows all patients to feel comfortable at their dental visits.
Skye is happy to help with any medical or dental enquiries and questions at the front desk, while Lydene is the kind soul looking after you while you have your treatment with Dr Brown. Together, they have over 30 experience

Brooke Perry ReceptionistBrooke has been working as a medical receptionist since 2015. A friendly face with a caring attitude, Brooke is happy to assist you while you are being cared for here. Brooke is currently completing her Diploma of Nursing.

Maryrose BurgessAdministration ManagerMaryrose is the Administration Manager for the three practices, which includes this practice. Her attitude towards work is unquestioned by all staff and she believes in getting the job done without compromising on the quality. She has over twenty years experience in medical administration and is the go to person in our practices.
